This week KONGKAST presents you yet another Austrian based production duo Rob and Mike aka Body & Soul (VIRUS | BREAKBEAT KAOS | VIPER | BC PRESENTS | NASCA/ Austria).
Having been dedicated to those dance floor smashing beats their audience loves them for, but Body & Soul also keep crossing musical (and mental) borders, experimenting with different musical genres and throwing in new sounds to create something just a little different from your usual Drum & Bass anthem.
With high profile productions and remixes on BreakBeat Kaos, Viper and Virus Recordings, they soon launched their own imprint – Nasca Records – in 2008, focusing solely on Drum & Bass.
Body & Soul recently released “The Reward” in collaboration with acclaimed production outfit Camo & Krooked. Being the opening 12 Inch on the highly anticipated Viper Recordings LP- Acts Of Mad Men, “The Reward” held top positions in all relevant sales charts for several consecutive weeks. This huge success is now followed by another massive 12“ on the infamous Virus Recordings label as well as a plethora of spanking new tracks on their own imprint.
